In this diorama, I’ve depicted the end of episode 52: *The Generation of Monsters*.

It’s a crucial moment for Grendizer, a moment of vulnerability. A scene that left its mark on us all: the loss of his arm and his retreat from the Beast.

I used a style typical of 1970s Tokyo architecture, focusing on bringing out the two robots in color against a mostly monochrome backdrop to heighten the dramatic intensity. The chaos of the scene intensifies when the lighted explosions are turned on.
